Introductory Master Class with Linda Ann Watt
1 Session ON ZOOM
Explore tools including relaxation, sense memory, “what if,” improvisation, 4th wall, personalization using substitution, and cold reading for camera. This Zoom online highly participatory class allows the actor to experience and become comfortable performing in front of a camera including finding eye-line and physicality on camera. The is the first session of a seven session weekly series of classes. Each class builds on the class before. Tuition to attend the additional six classes is $260.

Explore tools to bring emotional connection to character including relaxation, sense memory, voice, improvisation, private moment, repetition, and in-depth scene study using substitution, intention, 4th wall, personalization, creative hiding and physical action. The sessions also cover on-camera cold-reading (scene and spokesperson) and the “business of acting.”

This class is for the professional actor working in film, television and theatre who wants to hone their acting skills to be prepared. Those who have studied with Linda or have studied Stanislavski, Strasberg and Meisner techniques may audition for this class. This is an ongoing acting class meeting weekly. Students may book in/out of classes monthly.

Uploading Auditioning Class with Linda Ann Watt and Cory Riback
8-Weekly Sessions (offered in the fall) Registering Now
Pre-reads and most auditions for film, television, and theatre are now conducted online. This is a perfect time to perfect auditioning skills for uploading auditions to online platforms. In this ZOOM class, students receive lessons and information to set up the best home taping studio and how to tape material for the best video auditions. Each week students will receive sides (a scene), and be critiqued on the taped audition, which will be uploaded for class each week. Students learn –

Sides (scenes) will be supplied each week for this class.
